Biography

Acting career

The daughter of a world-famous singer, Chloe started her career as an actress, making her acting debut when she was 7 in a cameo on the Australian soap Paradise Beach in 1993. She moved on to a bigger roles in the 1994 television movie A Christmas Romance , Bette Midler's 2001 sitcom and in Showtime's production The Wilde Girls .

Musical career

In 2001, she joined her mother on stage singing At Last and You Loved Me Into It , by Etta James and was also in a Melbourne production of Hair .

In 2003, she once again joined her mother on tour and began work on her debut album No Pain which was due out in 2007. However, there have been several setbacks due to her changing labels and the album has yet to be released. Also, the album title was changed from "No Pain" to "Lonely Nights in Paradise". Songs that have been released on the internet from this album are Lonely Nights in Paradise, Sad City, Me and U, Delicious, Tastes Like You, and Make It Stop.

In 2008, Chloe appeared on the MTV reality show Rock the Cradle , finishing in third place, following Jesse Blaze Snider and Crosby Loggins.

Personal life

According to the E! True Hollywood Story biography on Olivia Newton-John, Olivia said Chloe's namesake was inspired by the perfume she was wearing at the time she met Chloe's father. The brand of perfume, Chloe , is still available.
